Registered Clinical Counsellor
I grew up in Port Moody and have spent most of life living in the Tri-Cities. I am an avid soccer player and enjoy all the local places to walk and grab a coffee with a friend. You will often find me on the Coquitlam crunch, walking my ancient Boston Terrier 'Omar' or hanging out at a soccer field, either playing or watching my kids. I love travelling and spent a year living in Mexico when I was a university student. I am always on the hunt for the most authentic chile relleno or the finest local margarita. I love practicing Spanish whenever I can and playing latin tunes from my car at every opportunity. I am a mom of three kids and while I love being a mother, I struggled with my mental health after having them. I felt a loss of my own personal identity, anxiety and some grief over losing the person I used to be. Through my own introduction into counselling, I began to better understand myself, old thoughts patterns and new ways of thinking. I developed a desire to learn more and help others facing similar challenges.
There are times in life when things become too overwhelming to face alone. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I work with clients who need space to process their thoughts and feelings, explore new ways of thinking and examine unhealthy cycles and patterns in their lives. Taking the time to examine one's own strengths and utilizing them to their full potential is the key to growth and personal fulfillment. I walk along side clients and guide them through sessions to help develop increased self awareness and new insight. Through building a relationship of trust and mutual respect, I provide an empathetic ear to clients and give them the time and space they need to heal.

I am passionate about helping clients through difficult life transitions including pregnancy and postpartum, parenting, separations and more. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, loss and anger. I also work with ADHD populations and their family members.
